Cookie Policy
Last updated: 9 October 2026
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. We also use local storage, a browser feature that stores small pieces of information (for example your language preference) on your device. For simplicity, this policy refers to both as "cookies".
2. Who sets cookies on thinknauts.eu?
Thinknauts OÜ, A. H. Tammsaare pst 54, 80016 Pärnu, Estonia (privacy@thinknauts.eu). Third‑party analytics cookies are set only if you have given consent via the cookie banner.
3. Cookies we use
3.1 Strictly necessary (no consent required)
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
tn_lang | Local storage | Remembers your chosen language (EN / ET) | Until deleted by you |
tn_cookie_consent | Local storage | Records whether you accepted or declined optional cookies, so the banner is not shown again | Until deleted by you |
3.2 Analytics (only with your consent)
If you click "Accept all", we may enable a privacy‑friendly, cookie‑less or anonymised web analytics service to understand how the site is used (pages visited, approximate country, device type). IP addresses are truncated or not stored. No analytics is loaded if you choose "Necessary only". At present no analytics cookies are set; this section will be updated with the provider's details if we enable one.
3.3 Marketing cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies and do not share data with advertising networks.
4. Third‑party content
Fonts on this site are loaded from Google Fonts. When fonts are requested, your browser transmits your IP address to Google. Google's privacy policy applies to that request. No cookies are set by the Google Fonts service.
5. Managing your choices
- Use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer to reopen the banner and change your choice at any time.
- You can delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Doing so will reset your language choice and show the banner again.
- Most browsers allow you to block cookies entirely; the site will still work, but your preferences will not be remembered.
6. Legal basis
Strictly necessary storage is used under § 102¹ of the Estonian Electronic Communications Act and Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive (exemption for storage strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user). Optional cookies rely on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
7. More information
How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
